Mini Me and More
Who breaks the thread, the one who pulls, the one who holds on? — James Richardson
Sometimes I get a bit ahead of myself. For example, writing an article dedicated to a car I do not yet have in my possession, as I did this week, with the piece, MINI ME. David is partial to the video, probably because it largely features me being silly:
I just got back from my second shrink appointment, and I must say, the outfit was much improved. Due to her excellent choice in attire this week, I will see her a third time. Actually, she was quite helpful today. Cognitive thinking stuff, you know, like “Everyone hates me” becomes “Some people hate me, some people like me, and some people couldn’t give two shits.” In so many words. Regardless, it’s a helpful way to think about things, as I tend to be a bit, well, extreme. Last night (video coming) we had a little soiree at Laurel for Chef Brian’s last Tapas Tuesday (though Tapas Tuesday will carry on with the new chef). Friends and food (a bit too much, says my un-hungry belly today), drink, music, you know, all the good stuff of life.
