I’m HOME!
That’s right, back in the states after a 20-hour day of travel. Oof. No wonder I slept like a log for 10 hours once my head hit the pillow. Uneventful for the most part, and we rode business class over the Atlantic, so the longest leg of our flights was delightful. But those last 5 hours were rough, and I have the butt cramps to prove it. While I was busy, another article came out! This one is about our adventure in Barcelona, and I call it THE NEWLYWED GAME. Even made a little video. Like to see it? Here it goes:
And now, it’s catch-up time. All those little things we need to take care of, little things we’ve brushed aside for almost three weeks. Laundry (oh, yeah), collecting our mail and making sure we’re up to date with our bills, grocery shopping, cleaning up the chaos we left behind (if you could see my wreck of a desk right now, you’d shed a tear for me), organizing our photos and video from the trip into slideshows for friends and family, and then, getting back into our healthy routine of working out and eating right, because our food and wine tour has left me with a bit of the bloat. But before any of that, we’re going to go out right now and grab a bite and a coffee (fortunately in a way, the espresso in Spain did not measure up to the espresso in Italy, so we won’t be too whiny about what we find around here). Then from being fueled up — just did the count, it’s been about 17 hours since I’ve eaten anything, strange I don’t feel hungry — we will embark on our missions and task list. And then, tonight, we will RELAX. For shit’s sake. Because tomorrow night we have some big Halloween party to attend. I’m not sure I have the energy for that, but David has put a LOT of work into our joint costume, and, well, how could I let him down? More on that later. I hope you enjoy the story and video!
