Saturday, gorgeous out, and I’m trying to get a leg up on my work, as I want my head to be clear and my body to be stress-free when we leave town on Wednesday morning. Yesterday was a relaxing, kind-of-a-break day. The first half of the day I spent at the zoo with my friend Jen, and what fun! I can’t wait to go back and back, and it looks like I’ll be going back as soon as tomorrow night, as time is running out for the zoo summer evenings, which I have yet to experience. It’s ridiculous that I live a short walk away from the zoo and haven’t been in so long. I’m looking forward to regular excursions to see the animals and plant-life. And we plan to visit the Wild Animal Park as well! Jen’s never been, and I don’t count my one forgotten childhood visit, so this will be new for both of us.
