I love how they call this breaking news. We’ve known for two days of Craig’s intention to resign. You know what pisses me off? People who hate WHO THEY ARE, and attack others like them while denying the facts. For example, a man who votes against gay rights, who is OBVIOUSLY gay himself, but hates himself for being so, or hates this “part” of him. So he lives a lie, gets married, goes into politics, and continues to give into his natural urges, while denying the fact that he ever has them. If this guy had come out and said, “Yup, I like guys,” I’d have a ton more respect for him. I’d have ANY respect for him. Right now, based on the information I’ve been given, I am disgusted by his very existence. There’s nothing wrong with being gay, just like there’s nothing wrong with having blue or brown eyes. One day, these fucking morons and the Christian right (many of whom are closeted freaks themselves) are going to pick up on that. Then again, maybe they won’t, in which case the world is going to end in a steaming bloodbath of ignorance and fear.
